Circumferential Reduction

Circumferential Reduction

Genetics, gravity, the natural aging process, weight fluctuations, diet and physical activity all play important factors in how body fat is stored in the body. Our ability to store fat increases with age.

Subcutaneous fat deposits are located beneath the skin’s surface, providing insulation and protection from trauma. Excess subcutaneous fat may also be used as a source of energy.

Visceral fat is found inside the abdominal cavity, providing protection and insulation for internal organs (stomach, liver, intestines, kidneys, etc.) Visceral fat can be eliminated through healthy, balanced diet and regular physical activity, while subcutaneous fat deposits are resistant to diet and exercise.

For significant improvements: a combination of a heathy, balanced diet, weight management, regular physical activity and VelaShape III treatments are recommended.

Treatment Options

Velashape III

VelaShape III utilizes the Elos technology (electro optical synergy) – a combination of bi-polar radiofrequency, optical energy (infrared light) and mechanical manipulation with vacuum to deliver a controlled amount of therapeutic energy deep in dermal layers. Therapeutic massage rollers and gentle vacuum action stimulate circulation and lymphatic drainage. The thermal impact in target tissue activates proliferation of fibroblast cells and stimulates them to produce new collagen without epidermal injury.

VelaShape III technology has been established as cutting- edge technology from Syneron-Candela in non-invasive aesthetic procedures. VelaShape III is the only non- invasive treatment cleared by the FDA for cellulite and circumferential reduction.

VelaShape III has two applicators: VContour and VSmooth.

VContour – bi-polar radiofrequency and mechanical manipulation with vacuum is used for circumferential reduction in smaller body areas, including arms, middle back, flanks, lower abdomen, knees, inner thighs and other localized fat deposits.

VSmooth – infrared light, bi-polar radiofrequency and mechanical manipulation with vacuum and massage rollers is used for cellulite and circumferential reduction in larger body areas including abdomen, thighs, and buttocks.

Treatment Indications:
Cellulite, skin laxity, circumferential reduction, localized fat deposits and body contouring.

A heathy, balanced diet, weight management and regular physical activity are recommended to ensure long-term results.
