Rosacea

Rosacea

This chronic, inflammatory condition is characterized by semi-permanent facial redness across the nose, cheeks, and forehead. The neck, chest, ears or scalp may also be affected.

Additional signs may include dilation of superficial blood vessels, telangiectasia, papules, pustules, swelling, burning and a stinging sensation, gritty, red, bloodshot eyes or an enlarged, bulbous nose with persistent redness.

Common triggers include genetics, hormonal changes, emotional distress, ultraviolet exposure, extreme weather conditions, environmental factors or lifestyle choices.

Treatment Options:

PURELIGHT G, ELOS PLUS, GENTLEMAX PRO

Treatment Options

Purelight G

PURELIGHT G – controlled wavelengths of green light stimulate photo receptors in dermal layers by directly targeting melanocytes: melanin-producing cells located in the epidermal layers.

The rise of melanin to the skin surface is prevented by breaking down the melanin deposits in the epidermis. In addition, melanin production and tyrosine activity are minimized, resulting in visible improvement in the appearance of existing discoloration.

In addition, melanin production and tyrosine activity are minimized, resulting in visible improvement in the appearance of existing discoloration.

PURELIGHT G can be combined with other procedures, including microdermabrasion and chemical peels – for gentle skin resurfacing and transdermal delivery – for optimum penetration of active ingredients.

Treatment Indications:
Hyperpigmentation, freckles, melasma, discoloration, uneven skin tone, sun damage and sun or age spots.

Treatment Protocol:
Requires a minimum of 6-8 consecutive treatment sessions, 1-3 times per month. Monthly maintenance sessions are recommended.

Elos Plus

Elos Plus technology uses optical energy (intense, pulsed light and near-infrared light) and bipolar radiofrequency, optimally combined in each pulse and delivered to target tissue to ensurea safe and effective treatment outcome.

Optical energy (laser or light) is converted into thermal energy and selectively absorbed by melanin and hemoglobin in target tissues. Pigmented and vascular lesions are heated to the point of destruction.

An integrated sapphire contact cooling system allows for enhanced patient tolerance.

Elos (electro optical synergy) is established as cutting-edge technology from Syneron-Candela, a leading manufacturer in non-invasive aesthetic procedures.

Elos Plus technology uses optical energy (intense pulsed light and near infrared light), and bipolar radiofrequency optimally combined in each pulse and delivered to target tissue to ensure safe and effective treatment outcome.

Pre-heating the area with optical energy allows the radiofrequency to penetrate deeper into the skin’s dermal layers without causing injury to the epidermis.

Fibroblast stimulation and dermal remodeling is initiated through the healing process. Optical energy and bi-polar radiofrequency is also converted to thermal energy for destruction of benign pigmented and vascular lesions.

Elos Plus uses an integrated contact cooling system for enhanced patient tolerance.

Elos Plus treatment indications:
Benign pigmented and vascular lesions

SR – SRA Plus
SR –SRA Plus is indicated for treatment of pigmented or vascular lesions

SR Treatment Protocol:
A minimum of 5-6 consecutive treatment sessions, 3-4 weeks apart, are required. Maintenance treatments every 3-6 months are recommended.

SRA Plus – Treatment Protocol:
A minimum of 2-4 consecutive treatment sessions, 3-4 weeks apart, are required post treatment with the SR treatment application. Maintenance treatment may be required.

GentleMax Pro

GentleMax Pro is a dual wavelength laser platform that combines two separate laser sources, a 755 nm Alexandrite laser and a 1064 nm Nd:YAG laser, in a single delivery system.

A controlled amount of therapeutic energy is delivered individually, or optically combined in each pulse and delivered to target tissues.

Thermal energy is also selectively absorbed by target chromophores – melanin or hemoglobin – for destruction of pigmented lesions in target tissues.

A cryogen cooling system is integrated for enhanced patient tolerance.
